About Lauren

Lauren Godbehere, dubbed “Plant Fairy”,

is a Designer at Natura who gathers her inspiration from luke-warm coffee, Taylor Swift, and car rides with the windows down. My passion bleeds from my red hair and I believe biophilic design not only starts with plants but incorporates natural elements and mixed media to create a more impactful and engaging design. I am always up for a challenge and constantly playing with new material and design concepts.

After two years at Natura I moved from the operations side of the business into sales and design. Through my time here I have mastered the art of keeping plants alive and am an expert in the needs of plants and how they impact the built environment.

I graduated with a Bachelors in Business Administration at the University of North Texas in 2015. After 3 years of working in the HR field, I decided to pursue my life-long passions…PLANTS! My wife and I moved to New Orleans where I began working in a Retail Greenhouse. I quickly took over the entire operation but New Orleans was just not home. We visited Austin and quickly fell in love with the city and Natura.

Lauren met her match, Heather, in 2016. They eloped in Saguaro National Park with their Goldendoodle, Theodore. On weekends you can find us napping at Zilker Park, listening to live music, going for a hike, and brunching on Sundays.
